Houston Community College (Dental Hygiene) Students Only – The following student kit includes:
(1) P15DP-TR56C-GSD-OR – 32 Tooth, periodontally involved model with clear upper and lower tissue. The model has #19 edentulous and #14 super erupted. The calculus is pre placed both sub and supra gingival. The model does include an Oral Cavity Cover assembled to simulate the lips and cheeks.
(1) Tongue Screw– Tongue insert placed into the model so the student’s can practice mirror placement and retraction.
(1) Porta Sim Stand – This portable stand features durability and versatility and allows full 360-degree access around the typodont. This access allows faculty to easily demonstrate correct posture and techniques to students when dental chairs and table mounts are not available. With a simple turn of the handle the height of the PortaSim can be adjusted to accommodate most students. This portable stand is fully collapsible and an excellent tool for students wanting to practice at home. (Instrument tray, mount and DP Lock is included).
(1) Real Feel Calc (Black) – Pre-mixed replacement calculus with a precision applicator.
