These advanced teeth combine intentionally placed caries material, true bi-layer construction, and an anatomical pulp chamber to provide an exceptionally realistic and immersive training experience.

The innovative design features a hard enamel crown paired with a softer dentin layer, with carefully placed caries material that simulates the feel and cutting characteristics of natural tooth structure. The addition of an anatomical pulp chamber provides immediate visual feedback during preparation. Students can recognize when a preparation has progressed too deeply and resulted in pulp exposure, or use the pulp chamber as a platform for practicing endodontic procedures.

Detailed crown anatomy and enhanced secondary anatomy further increase the realism of the simulation, providing students with a more comprehensive platform for developing restorative and endodontic skills.

The Bi-Layer Caries Teeth are produced in a different shade than standard replacement teeth, creating an opportunity for students to perform color-matching exercises with composite when preparing adjacent teeth.

Each tooth features approximately 6 mm of subgingival root structure, providing a reliable guide for proper tooth placement and helping simulate real-world clinical conditions. Our patented slot design at the base of each tooth helps maintain precise interproximal and occlusal contacts while preventing unnatural tooth rotation, ensuring consistent and predictable positioning.

Students can feel the texture, simulate the cut, remove caries, recognize pulp exposure, restore the tooth, and practice endodontic procedures—all within a single realistic training platform.
