Description
Pediatric Caries Teeth with Pulp Chamber – #B, #F & #K
Our Pediatric Caries Teeth with Pulp Chamber are designed for the D75DP-920 Pediatric Typodont and provide an advanced, realistic simulation for practicing caries removal and pulpotomy procedures.
The teeth feature an anatomical crown and straight root, with options for either a traditional stained pulp chamber or gel pulp. They can also be mounted independently in wax or stone for additional training applications.
Available Options
- A12-920: Hollow pulp cavity with a red-stained canal
- A28AN-900: Updated gel pulp caries teeth
- #B, #F, and #K: Superficial caries
- #K: Also available with deep caries for a more advanced treatment simulation
The caries material is painted directly onto the tooth, allowing students to experience the feel and resistance of removing decay with a bur. The hard crown density provides friction and resistance designed to replicate the sensation of working on an actual tooth.
The integrated pulp chamber provides immediate guidance when preparing toward the pulp, helping students understand the consequences of over-preparation. The chamber can also be used to practice pulpotomy procedures, with either a red-stained canal or gel pulp.
The pulp chamber is also designed to support ceiling removal, while the sensation of enlarging the root canal provides an additional layer of realistic endodontic practice.
